If my shirt size in the US is 16 1/2 inch for neck size and sleeve length is 36 inches what size shirt do you recommend from your shirts. Thank you ▾Hi Peter, Angelo here, hope you are well. As you will certainly know, when purchasing off the rack shirts can be a hit and miss when it comes to size and fit, all I can say is that we made our shirts more roomy than the standard Italian fit, because most of our customers are from the US and I know that US sizes are more generous. However, there are areas where we had to keep the "italianity" of the fit, such as arm hole being slightly higher that your usual US shirt. A higher armhole could result in a snugger fit around that area, so if you like that area to be less fitted I'd suggest you go half size up on your usual US size, however you'll have to consider that the collar will of course be a little wider than your usual. Sleeve length wise 17 seems to be the more accurate size for you. I wanted to take a moment to emphasize that the information I’ve provided should be considered more as a guideline rather than a definitive direction. Since I don’t have a personal understanding of your body measurements or specific preferences, it’s important to keep in mind that I cannot guarantee the perfect size for you. Hi Angelo, My name is Kay. I am from Switzerland originally but live in the USA. I wear normally a 15.5 inches / 39cm neck size. Are your shirts true to size or would you recommend going one size up?
